The Financial Readiness Program (FRP)

offers education, counseling and support services to individual Soldiers and their Families to help them achieve personal financial readiness, to include living within their means and investing for the future. The FRP assists commanders by helping Army Soldiers and Families to be financially healthy and secure.
Our mission is to reduce indebtedness and requests for emergency financial assistance, and to prevent financial difficulties before they arise through classes on money management, credit, financial planning, insurance and consumer issues.
Classes emphasize the importance of managing personal financial affairs and include but are not limited to:

Soldiers and Families anticipating PCS relocation, deployment or marriage, or who are expecting a baby could benefit from the various classes or individual financial counseling that we schedule. Classes are available for your Unit or Family Readiness Group.
Our FRP Counselors provide daily classroom instruction in Basic Budgeting to arriving single and married personnel and a Basic Budgeting/Check Writing class for First Term Soldiers to meet a requirement for mandatory Personal Financial Readiness Class.
Let our FRP Counselors help you with your credit issues, management of debts, budget development, debt liquidation assistance, consumer affairs, and developing a spending plan. Assistance with how to prepare a formal complaint and assistance with filing the complaint are available.
